TRICK-OR-TREAT

Instead of carving pumpkins this year we decided to paint them because Brynlee would have wanted to help carve...sharp objects and Brynlee don't mix. She had a blast doing it and that's all that matters.

She dressed up as an 80's girl. It was so fun putting this costume together. You can't tell from the pictures, but she has hot pink hair spray in her hair and she thought that was the coolest thing ever. Her aunt showed her how to pose for the pictures and I think she looks so cute.

Austin was an astronaut with Harry Potter glasses.

Unfortunately, her mascara started running towards the end of the night but she was loving the candy.

Dressed up as a cowgirl before trick-or-treating at Austin's birthday party.

FAMILY VACATION TO SAN DIEGO

Our family took a trip to San Diego. We've been wanting to take Brynlee to the beach for a long time and she had a blast playing in the sand and wading in the water. We also went to Seaworld where we saw Elmo, pink birds, Shamu and much much more.

ROAD TRIP W/ THE SIBS

Whitney's husband is in the police academy in Carson City, NV, so Tanner and I went on a road trip with her to visit him. It took a long, boring 9 hours to get there. The cacti and dirt was the scenery we enjoyed while hoping we didn't run out of gas during the 150 mile stretch with no services. The signs telling you there are no services for 150 miles should be before the last gas station. While we were there we went to Lake Tahoe and soaked up the incredible scenery.  It was a VERY nice break...I didn't take Brynlee :)!!!

THE MANY EXPRESSIONS OF A 3 YEAR OLD

SPLISH SPLASH

The temperature is finally staying under 100 degrees. Now we can enjoy the outdoors a little more. Nothing's better than getting wet and then playing on the playground with your cousin.
