THE DREADED DENTIST

I took Brynlee to Austin's dentist appointment to show her it's fun and painless. Austin was perfect; he let the hygienist take x-rays, clean his teeth and floss. The dentist was kind enough to offer to look at Brynlee's teeth but she wouldn't even get on the chair. She had to sit on my lap so he could get a peek inside. He said she's a little slow getting a few of her teeth and I need to think about getting her off her binky. I've tried a couple times to take the binky away but it made my days miserable so I keep giving in. Maybe by the time she's in Kindergarten she won't need it anymore. Other than that, everything is good.

JUMPIN' JACKS

Today Whit and I took the kids to Jumpin Jacks hoping to make them tired. We definitely accomplished that goal. They had so much fun but I think Whitney had more fun. Pictures would prove it but I didn't want to get in trouble by posting them. We had never been here before but I think we'll make it a regular activity.

This is what they look like when they're having fun.

BATHTIME FUN

She loves trying to get her whole head in the water.

KICK-O-KEEK

Trick-or-treating with Brynlee and Austin was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I wish I had my video camera with me so everyone could see it. Brynlee was a 50's girl and Austin was a spider. At first Brynlee didn't know what was going on but when she realized that she was getting candy there was no stopping her. She said "kick-o-keek" everytime and would run back yelling that she got more candy. At one house a lady gave her a piece of candy and a pencil. She was absolutely disgusted that someone would give her something that wasn't candy. She tried to give it back to the lady but when she saw Austin put it in his basket she decided to keep it. When we got back to our house she didn't want to go because she wanted more candy. It was all better when we let her eat some. I hope next year is just as fun.

THE MOVE

So, we finally moved to St. George. The last couple weeks have been busy and exhausting. I hate getting things packed and organized especially when I have a little one who just undoes everything. We headed down on Halloween morning in a big Uhaul pulling our Saturn. After I finally found the keys that unlock the back of the truck and a stranger helped me back the truck out of a tight space at the storage unit things went smoothly. It was a long day and I was very glad when it was over.
