FIRST HAIRCUT

Brynlee finally had her first haircut. I've been procrastinating because I didn't want her cute little curls to go away. Good news...they're still here. She was so cute while she was getting it done. She took it very seriously and wouldn't crack a smile. I'm glad Bryn let her do it without throwing some embarrassing fit. Afterward, she got a 'My Little Pony' sticker. Mission accomplished.

SHOCKING!!!

This morning I was in the bathroom getting ready (with the door open keeping an eye on Brynlee of course) and I heard a snapping sound. I looked in the hall and Brynlee had stuck two small keys in one of the outlets. I grabbed a wooden spoon to get them out...they were stuck in there pretty good. She's never done anything like that before but I think she'll think twice before she does it again...it scared her. I don't know how she didn't seriously hurt herself but I'm very grateful she's safe.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!

So, Kevin finally got a job. He's going to be working on the rehab unit at the hospital. We're very excited that he's going to be able live with us again. Brynlee will be glad to have her daddy back. He'll most likely be starting the beginning of May. Just one more month without him, but knowing he'll be with us soon will make it a million times easier.

UPDATE

So, here's a little update on our lives:
Companies are finally starting to hire nurses so Kevin came down last week and had 3 interviews and has another one scheduled. We're hoping and praying one of these works out. Some other good news...St. George is getting an ice rink and I'm trying to get a job coaching. It looks good but I won't know for sure for another week or so. It's supposed to open the beginning of May, just in time for the dreaded summer temperatures. An ice rink is a perfect place to be in hot weather.

We are also on the hunt for our very own house. We're sick of renting and we want a yard for Brynlee. We don't want anything too big, maybe something like the picture.
